Randy Meek Homes

Approach

Custom Homes

Most of our clients are referred to us from a previous client or from one of the architects with whom I have been working with for many years. We begin with a piece of raw land and a set of blueprints and help you create the home you envision.

  • 1 | Orientation

The most important decision we have to make is how you want your home to sit on your property. We try to pick the location that has the best view, best access and good drainage.

Optimal sunlight will enhance your lifestyle and reduce your energy usage. We also consider your possible future plans, whether that is more square footage, another home for an in-law or a horse stable. We love trees and will spend the extra time it takes to get the most out of a piece of property.

  • 2 | Utilities

We will discuss the best options for your electricity, gas, water and sewage needs so that we can make the right decisions before we start the project. The Green Building Program is one of our priorities because of its emphasis on energy efficiency, clean air and a sustainable future. 5 Stars is the highest rating given by this program, and we have one of only fifteen 5 Star rated houses in Austin.

  • 3 | Access

Good access to your property is very important. We specialize in creating roads for any terrain. An improperly installed road will always come back to haunt you; we do it right the first time.

  • 4 | Finish Out

No matter how simple or complex the project may be, we have the expertise to assist you in creating your ideal living environment.

The rest of the project is Randy Meek Homes taking your ideas and making them a reality. You make the selections, and we let our craftsmen make your dreams come true.

We work with professionals who can help you with interior and exterior design selections, financing, architecture, creating a home theatre, landscaping, swimming pool design and anything else you would like assistance with.

If you can dream it, we can build it!

"Randy has an excellent knowledge of the building process. He does exactly what he says he is going to do. His communication is clear. He is fair with his tradesmen. And he insists on the highest possible standards of construction.

I chose him to build my own house, which may mean more than anything else I could say, since I am an architect." - Lori and Glen Chappell
